U City is the new home of Uniting Communities in Adelaide, providing a social services hub in the heart of the city.
For over 115 years Uniting Communities has worked alongside South Australians as they strive for a bright future and great lives, supporting them to overcome adversity and disadvantage.
As a leading not-for-profit organisation, Uniting Communities provides more than 90 community service programs, including aged care, disability support, youth services, homelessness intervention, foster care and family counselling.
Our team of over 1500 staff and volunteers support and engage with more than 80,000 South Australians each year. We strive to build compassionate communities and great lives through community strengthening, quality service delivery and advocacy.

Uniting Communities

Streetlink Youth Health
Our free and confidential youth health service provides a safe place for vulnerable or high risk young people aged 12 to 25 that offers information, support and connection to services from people who care.
New ROADS
Drug and alcohol support for families, pregnant women, single parents and their children. New ROADS offers a range of services, including rehabilitation and counselling that focus on both physical and mental health.
Adult and Family Counselling
We support families, couples and young people to improve relationships and resolve conflict. We can also help with mediation to work out care arrangements for children after separation.
Support for Young People
Our range of services can support young people through challenging situations. We can help improve relationships with your family, or provide support if you’re caring for someone.
Financial Counselling
Managing expenses can be tough. We offer free, independent and confidential counselling, as well as emergency relief, assistance with moving house and access to no and low-interest loans.
Mental Health Services
We offer a range of counselling services to support your mental health. We can help you work through challenges related to alcohol and other drugs, domestic and family violence, sexual abuse or sexual assault.
Lifeline Adelaide
Our dedicated team is here to listen and offer 24/7 crisis support, information and referrals. We are committed to preventing suicide, supporting people in crisis and promoting good mental health and wellbeing.
NDIS and Disability Services
With over 25 years’ experience in disability services, Uniting Communities works with people living with disability and their carers to provide professional and quality support, including assistance with your NDIS plans.
Legal Support Services
If you need legal advice, our qualified legal practitioners can provide free, expert, independent and confidential support for general and specialised legal services.
Allied Health
Our services include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry and exercise classes to support strength, mobility and connection to your community.
